- I am an only child raising an only child.
- I didn't get my driver's license until I had graduated high school, turned 18 and had my first full-time job.
- I took banjo lessons for 3 years in my late teens.
- I have a weakness for buttercream icing...forget the cake...give me icing!
- I am deathly afraid of heights.
- I do not like dirty shoes. I thoroughly clean all of our shoes before they are put back in our closets...they tend to last longer this way (I don't know if that's a good thing or a bad thing since I love shoes)!
- I like to have everything neat and orderly (some would say I'm a neat freak). I admit that at times I may be a little obssessive, but it could be worse right??? My dh always jokes about this and says, "Do you think someone will break into our home and say, Oh my goodness, they didn't push their chairs in at the table!"
I'd like to tag the following friends: Kelli at There Is No Place Like Home , Anita at Cottage Affairs , Lynda at Hedgerow Hollow , Nancy Jo , Andrea at Southern Heart , Allie at My Cozy Home , Mindy at Peaceful Corner
It's interesting to me how similiar we all are. I think I've been able to identify with at least 1 thing from everyone's list!
ReplyDeleteI'm an only raising an only, I didn't learn to drive untill I was in my late 20's (maybe that explains my dislike of driving) and I'm with you on the icing!

I'm still laughing at #7!! I'm the same way about chairs! I think my girls push them out when I'm not looking!
ReplyDeleteI enjoyed your list very much!
Blessings,
Karen
Loved finding more out about you...#7 is a HOOT!! What your husband has to say, so true - but do we care about that??
ReplyDeleteWe share the neatness gene, Kim! My 7 are listed on my blog ... thanks for tagging me! ♥
ReplyDeleteI loved reading your list! :) I used to eat cake batter and raw brownies like it was going out of style, and all the women in my family fight over the biggest roses. :)
ReplyDeleteAndrea
There is nothing wrong with being a neat freak, Kim! I'm the same way about the chairs too..how funny!
ReplyDeleteThank you for tagging me, I'll try and get to it soon!
Kelli

I'm afraid of heights too, and I dislike dirty shoes as well! I just recently got Crocs for my daughter and myself, and I consider one of their greatest assets is being able to wash them out in the sink. And as for your neatness obsession, my husband kids me too -- in fact he calls me "Monica," as in the TV show 'Friends' because she was neurotic about order and cleanliness!
ReplyDeleteManuela, Karen, Anita, Lynda, Andrea, Kelli, Mindy, Rhoda and Kellie, thank you for your comments. I've enjoyed writing my 7 list so that you all could get to know me a little better. It's seems that we all have something in common besides our love of Home!
ReplyDeleteKelli, I look forward to reading your list!
