First of all, I'd like to thank all of you who stopped by and left such nice comments about the pin my Great Aunt gave me. I really appreciate it that you took the time out of your busy day to come and visit me.

Last Friday and Saturday my dd helped out at our local Relay for Life event held in our town. They had a flea market both days. I went to help them with clean up and was surprised when they told us that we could have anything we wanted for FREE! Here are the sweet treasures I was able to bring home with me...I'm so surprised some of these items did sell. You wouldn't believe the amount of items that were left.
I can't believe all those sweet things were left over. They must have been waiting for you.
ReplyDeleteI looooove your blog. Your pics look like postcards instead of the standard pics most blogs use. Would you share how you do this? Thanks
What a fun find- helping out charity, and getting a few freebies, too.
ReplyDeleteYour pin is beautiful. I am glad you were able to find out more about it, too. :-)
You got all of that for free??! How wonderful! I love the yellow apron!

What good finds. I love to go to flea markets, you never know what you will come up with. connie from Texas
ReplyDeleteFree things are always the most fun, aren't they? And I can't think of a sweeter person as the recipient, either. :) You chose some very lovely items, and I'm sure that you'll enjoy them!
ReplyDeleteHave a great weekend,
Andrea
That's so nice that you got those items for free. Such neat and interesting things!

How wonderful! You chose some lovely treasures.
ReplyDeleteI've enjoyed seeing the other things you've shared too.
I think your mother's Bible with her handwritten notes is an heirloom that will be treasured for generations.
Best wishes!
Wow - what sweet "gifts" you got. I especially like the yellow & white checked apron and the fancy sugar bowl.
