Hello Friends...hope you all had a nice relaxing weekend. That's what I mostly did...relaxed, napped, journaled, read, finished watching Season 2 of Downton Abbey, and more relaxing. I am feeling so much better since my surgery. I went back to work on Tuesday but I had to take it easy. My daughter, Emily, came to work with me since she's on break from business school until she starts back for her summer term in June. She's a good kid, she could be doing other things on her break (I know I'd want to do other things as well) but instead she's helping her mama clean...I love her!

Just look at what I found in our garage...there are quite a few more treasures I spotted if only I can talk my hubby into letting me have them...keep your fingers crossed!
I'm thinking about adding some plants to it...I found some nice herbs that would look great in here.
I'm hoping to get to some church sales this weekend...I'll be sure and post pictures if I find anything.
Glad your feeling better ! Sounds like a great weekend to me lots of R&R , reading and what not ! WOW ! love those crates hope hubby parts with them ! Have a wonderful day !
So glad to hear you're better! Love your new treasure. I just put up an old Pepsi box - yellow and blue - in my kitchen today. I found it recently and wasn't sure where it would go. Will share it on my blog when I decide where it belongs! ~Adrienne~
That box would look great with herbs, or leaf lettuce. How did you do with the blackout? I did not realize you had surgery but glad you are on the mend and well enough to go back to work. xo
That would be a great use for the box. The blackout wasn't bad, but a few days later we had an F1 tornado come through and we were without power for 27 hours.
Lots like you'll have to drag that box out, Pam :) I have all of the bottles, too, but not sure what to do with them. I got a few things at the church sale...sorry you missed it!
It's great to find treasures in your own garage! Herbs will look great in it. Your daughter is a sweetheart to help you! Glad you are feeling better and able to work. :)
The box is so cute. There will be so many uses for it. A tray for glasses, cutlery, napkins to carry to the outdoors. Plants, the possiblities are endless. What a great find. blessings to you.
Kim, I'm glad you are feeling better and had some sweet time with your daughter. Love the crate...plans for it? You're so creative with stuff like that! Can't wait to see what you do with it!
