My $4.00 yard sale find has finally been painted. I'm really looking forward to having it in the bathroom. DH promises that he will hang it this week.

I also painted this shelf from Home Interiors. It was brown, but I thought it would work better being white. I'm also going to have dh hang it in the bathroom.

Yeah -- I'm finally able to comment on your site. I love that little $4. cabinet -- I never find anything that nice for that price at garage sales around here!! Can't wait to see it hung.

The old brown finish isn't what I need anymore and there's better use for them than just sitting in a box in the garage. ~Adrienne~

I can't wait to see this cupboard hanging and filled with your wonderful goodies! Was the shelf a bargain too? I am off to hunt for some items tonight for our half bath. Not easy to do here in Holland. The only place open in the eveing is IKEA so we will go over to look. Do you already know what you want to put in the cupboard?

ReplyDeleteWhat a lovely little cupboard - It looks wonderful painted white. My daughter paints almost everything she finds at garage sales/second hand shops etc - white & it's amazing how it instantly changes the look.

Kim, your cabinet is stunning. It's such a great piece, and for only $4 - amazing. I think it will look great in the bathroom. I can just see the vintage bottles and decorative items you'll be able to place in it. Can't wait to see it once it's up. Your other shelf looks good too. I've got some like that which I need to paint as well. You're inspiring me.
