Thrifting and Crafting

I found this little black wooden frame lined with black and tan gingham during my thrift shopping last week. It was 79 cents. I knew exactly what I was going to do with it. I had several old keys that I wanted to display. As soon as I saw the frame I knew the keys would look perfect in it. This is what I came up with. Now my only dilema is where to hang it...hmmmmmmmm.

  1. What a great idea! Do you mind if I steal it????
I have a handful of keys that belonged to my grandmother's house.
Do you mind sharing how you attached the keys? I was thinking of using clear fishing line.
Can't wait to see where you hang them.

  2. That is so cute. That is always my problem, I think my house is not big enough at times but the I look around and I see my walls are all covered with pictures of my children and grandchildren and I would not change a thing. lol. connie from Texas

  3. Karen, I do not mind at all...I'd be honored if you choose to use my idea! I've attached the keys with glue dots. I'm not sure if this was the best method or not...time will tell.

Connie, your home is filled with treasures that are priceless (your family)...that's what it's all about!
