While out running errands on Thursday I had an opportunity to stop at a few of my favorite thrift stores. Here's what I found:

The print was just .49 cents. It was in an awful gold frame but I thought the print was so pretty. I'm going to buy a white frame for it. I haven't decided whether to put it in the powder room or in the main bath. The sugar bowl was under $1.00 as was the creamer. I loved the shape of the sugar bowl. The decorative bottle to add to my collection was .79 cents. I also found another item that I will post about later this week. Stay tuned!

Beautiful finds!! The sugar bowl is so pretty and I love the print!

What a pretty picture. I would have done away with the gold frame too. Some nice finds. I love thrifting and I love antique shops even more. Hope you have a great day. Thanks for stopping by my place. I look forward to visiting with you again here.
ReplyDeleteCute Cute Cute!! Great deals too! I haven't been able to go thrifting lately but plan on going this weekend (yard sale shopping too) :) and can't wait!
ReplyDeleteThe creamer and sugar are my favs! I love items for the kicthen!
Thanks for stopping by my blog and your comments. I too love being a wife and homemaker. It is the best 'job' in the world.
ReplyDeleteYour finds are real treasures. Enjoy them! I am off to look at more of your blog which is truely lovely.
I am going to have to start going to more thrift stores. I never find nice things like you found. maybe I am just not looking hard enough. I like it all. It would have been something I would have picked. connie from Texas
ReplyDeleteWow great finds and such good prices! My local thrift stores rarely have anything good. So I don't stop in very often.
ReplyDeleteFinding new treasures is always so fun. I haven't been in a long time as I pretty much only go when my mom is in town. She will be back in a few weeks so am looking forward to us getting out to find some good stuff. Thanks for sharing your new goodies.

Thank you ladies! I was pretty lucky this time around. Most of the time the prices at our local Salvation Army are pretty expensive. Saint Vincent de Paul, my favorite store, it always is a little more reasonable, but their selection isn't as good. It's usually either hit or miss.
ReplyDeleteKelli, I wish you could see the print in person...it's even better!
Mikki Jo, Thank you, the gold frame was really cheap plastic. I think the frame is what kept people from buying it sooner. I knew that it could be changed. Can't wait to get a new frame and show everyone.
Kim, yard sales haven't started in our area yet, but I can't wait. Hope you have fun thrifting and yard saling. I love kitchen items, too!
Heidi, thank you for taking the time to visit. Please come back often.
Connie, I always look over the items several times to make sure that I haven't missed something.
Manuela, I say keep trying and don't get discouraged. There are many treasures out there to be found.
Clarice, thank you...as soon as I spotted the bottle I knew I had to have it for my collection. I truly have a weakness for bottles.
Allie, I'm sure you're looking forward to your Mom's visit. Hope you find some great treasures.
Your 'finds' are great....Just never know what blessings are out there to be found.
ReplyDeleteHave a great weekend......
