Hello sweet blogging friends, I honestly thought that I would be away for awhile the way I was feeling yesterday (thank you for your get well wishes). I got lots of rest yesterday, had a half decent nights sleep and awoke feeling so much better (those must be some miracle pills I'm taking)! Although I am definitely not back to feeling 100% better I know that I am on the road to recovery...PRAISE THE LORD!!! Please keep my dd in your prayers, she is going to see the doctor today because she hasn't been feeling well for a week now, too.

I wanted to share with you some embroidery pictures that I found before Christmas at Tractor Supply. If you've never been into one of these stores I encourage you to visit right around Thanksgiving...they have the nicest gift...who would have known?
I got the wooden plate at Goodwill for .99 cents. I decided to put a picture of my dh and his 3 older brothers inside (his baby brother wasn't born yet). I think it's so sweet. My dh has some great picture of his childhood that I'm going to put into a collage if I ever get around to it.
Do you see what's behind this basket of pine and pip berries...my unsightly hoses for my washer.
I hope you enjoyed this little tour of my laundry room updates. Take care, dear blogging friends!
I love it. I am fixing to do something to my nasty laundryroom. Thanks for giving me a little get up and go!
ReplyDeleteOh My! I am so in love with your Blog AND your home! I am so glad you found me and my lil blog. And thank you for such a nice comment. I will be visiting you and your blog often. Happy New Year! jodi @ simply this that and the other.
ReplyDeleteOh, Kim your home is beautiful, just my kind... You have a wonderful blog yourself. Love your template around your pic's.
ReplyDeleteBlessings your way, Pamela
I love how you hid the hoses. Love the stitcheries from tractor supply
ReplyDeleteYour laundry room looks great! I love the basket of berries, and the glass container for your supplies.
ReplyDeleteI'm also getting ready to decorate my laundry room!
Now let me see.... what shall we do in there? :)
I'm so glad you're feeling better, Kim! Your laundry room looks fabulous! That is the one and only thing that I don't like in my home ... no laundry room. My washer & dryer are in the basement beside the furnace. If I ever win the lottery, I'm going to have a laundry room built. :) ~ hugs, Lynda xo
ReplyDeleteWelcome back. I hope your better. I stopped to tell you Hi and found you left a post. I love the laundry room thought you were gonna say you made the embroidery. But tractor supply no kindin' haven't been there in years. Thank goodness love the store but wasn't too keen on the location. Another story though. Anyway love the photo's and glad to see you back. Love the covered up pipes too. Wish my laundry room was so clean. I'll work on. Thanks for the inspiration.
ReplyDeleteGlad to hear you are feeling better! I do pray that your daughter is feeling well soon also! I love how you have covered up the not so pretty hoses! You have such a knack for those wonderful finds! Glad you are back in blogging world! :)
ReplyDeleteOne of the things I would love to do is do a laundry room makeover this year. I like it as it is but on the other hand it has been like since we moved here. It is also my cloakroom where everyone comes into to hang up their coats.
ReplyDeleteI am so happy to hear you not only are feeling better but were able to stop by for a visit. I have missed you over the holidays. I always enjoy your sweet comments.
Your new embroidery pictures are just adorable and you found the perfect place for them! I love the basket and pip berries!
I will keep your DD in my thoughts and prayers.
Hugs ~
Heidi
Your laundry room looks so nice Kim. I love the little stitched pictures. Hope you are feeling better.
ReplyDeleteSuch wonderful pics of your laundry room. I need to get mine looking nice like yours. Thanks for showing it.
ReplyDeleteHope you are feeling better! Isn't it fun to dress up a laundry area? Almost (and I mean almost) makes it a pleasant chore! Love, Esther
ReplyDeletePretty additions. It looks lovely what wonderful finds.
ReplyDeleteI'm glad you're feeling better, Kim. Hope you recover fully very soon :) I love your latest photos around your home. My favourite is the barn in the snow - what a beautiful painting this would make!
ReplyDeleteLove Maria
Hey Kim!! I love your laundry room decor!! I tried keeping sweet lil displays on my washer but soon realized I needed to put them on top of my dryer...when the spin cycle kicks in my lil pretties "walk" right off the top of the washer!! LOL
ReplyDeleteI'm glad you are doing well!
Love,
Robin
Good job.
ReplyDeleteSusan
Cute signs! I haven't been to tractor supply in a long time. I also find some nifty things there.
ReplyDeleteHi, Kim, thanks for stopping by to see me. Your new signs for the LR look great. I'm a big believer in making that laundryroom something nice since we have to spend time in there.
ReplyDeleteGlad you are feeling better!
xo,

Tractor suppy, aye?? Yet another great palce to shop! Thanks for the idea - I would have NEVER guessed! I really like the plate and what you did with it. I, too, have some great photos of my DH and his brother when they were kids. Good idea!
ReplyDeleteGlad to hear you're feeling better- Prayers for your DD. :-)
Colleen
Your blog is so nice, it gives such a homely feel. What strikes me is that wonderful little poem that you have on your blog.
ReplyDeleteCheers (:
Glad you're feeling better! Very cute signs! I would never think a place called Tractor Supply would have such cute things. Your laundry room looks great!
ReplyDeleteManuela
Oh I wish I had an actual laundry room but we had to make an area in the back hallway. Someday I'll get the space "done". I like how you disguised the hoses, very clever.
ReplyDeleteTractor Supply doesn't sound like a place you'd find stitcheries. My favourite store is Canadian Tire and it's name is very deceiving. Yep, they sell tires but sooo much more. I spend way too much $$ there.
Hope you're feeling better these days. Whatever is going around lately seems to hang on forever.
:o)
You have got the NEATEST laundry room I have EVER seen. I am in awe!

Hello Kim!
ReplyDeleteSo nice to be back to see you. I see you have decorated so beautifully since the last time I was over. As always Kim it looks so nice :)
I have a few empty clear glass jars like the one in your laundry area. I bought mine at Wally world. I am wondering though if the children will get into the powder when I turn my head for a second and think it is sand to play with. Maybe I won't go there just yet. Looking forward to many more pictures, and chat time!
Hugs~ Renee
