~* The After Christmas Christmas Tour *~

Today, Friday, January 11th, is the last day I will be adding pictures to this post. Thank you so much for stopping by to see my pictures...as always I appreciate your comments. Kate wanted to know what program I use. It's called ArcSoft Collage Creator. It was a freebie program when I purchase my HP printer/scanner/copier. I'm not sure if it can be purchased or not. Also, I just wanted to let you all know that I am so sorry that I haven't gotten around to visit with all of your dear blogging friends like I did before Christmas. My time on the computer is very limited, but I promise that I will get around to visiting with all of you soon!
An artificial Amaryllis (it looks so real) and a reindeer with sleigh.
A wreath in the family room. Pine garland and pip berry garland on our entertainment center.

Wooden santas from Big Lots. I bought these a long time ago and they're actually made out of wood!
This is the tree in the family room. I didn't have anywhere to display it so my dh took an old chair without a seat and added a board to it. I covered it with fabric.
Hello friends, I hope you enjoy my after Christmas Christmas Tour of my home. Since time on the computer is very limited I am only able to post a few pictures at a time. I'll add more pictures every day until I have them all posted.

You'll find that these pictures are pretty random. Hopefully Christmas 08 will be a little more organized!

Added 1/10/08 - This is how I decorated my windowsill by my kitchen sink.
Added 1/10/08 - Three little angels that were given to my dear Mom by her best friend whenever my Mom was dealing with breast cancer. This friend was with her until she went home to be with the Lord. The little bird house ornament just given to us this year by our dear friends Josie and Mark...we love you guys!
Added 1/10/08 - These trees were in my kitchen. It's decorated with many things including miniature kitchen utensils. The tree on the right was a thrift store find for 0.99 cents.

Added 1/10/08 - I love this little house. I keep it up all year round. I just added the trees (which are candles) and the deer. The deer is from my childhood.

Added 1/8/08 Added 1/8/08 - A cupboard in our powder room. Added 1/8/08 - This is a dresser that it is in our living room. Added 1/8/08 - This is how I decorate my windows in the living room and dining room. You can't tell from the picture, but the pine garland has a pip berry garland in it...some things just don't show up in pictures. The wreaths were an after Christmas sale find...$2.00 each. A bird house floral arrangement. Added on 1/8/08 - My mantel and snowman.

This wreath was given to me by a long time family friend when my dear Dad passed away five years ago right before Christmas. I added the Home Sweet Home sign (it was a $1.00).

This is the top of my computer hutch. I found the lamps (which look like punched tin, but are actually paper) from the Wow Outlet for $15.00 each. The window with shutters is actually a mirror that I found at Goodwill for $7.99. It's from Home and Garden Party. There is a small basket filled with pine, pip berries and pomegranites. I also added a little pine to the candle holder.
A view of my front porch. The trees were purchased from Wal-mart in 2006 for $9.99 each. I added lights and pip-berry garland (which I found at a yard sale).

And last but not least, our tree. It was in our dining room this year. Prior years it was in the basement family room, but since I rearranged the furniture there wasn't any room for it. I'm sorry that the picture is blurry. I don't know why when I take pictures with lights they tend to blur. My favorite little angel that was given to me by my dear Mom when I was a small child.

Don't forget to keep checking back since I'll be adding more pictures to this post.

  2. Love your photos of the house at Christmas. What pretty trees on each side of your front door! And I love that you still have the ornament your mother gave you as a child. I think the tree photo is beautiful! I love when you can see the lights well. I never get a photo I like of my tree. I just never understand how some people take such great photos of theirs.

    Hugs ~
