Many items in my home are treasures that belonged to my family or I have picked them up at thrift stores. The dresser in the living room belonged to my Mom and Dad. I use it for storage. The iron candle sconces were purchased at my favorite thrift store.
This table is another item that belonged to my Mom and Dad. It's a little crooked, but I think that adds to it's charm.
The coffee table was made by my dear Husband when we were first married.

ReplyDeleteMost of my favorite things in our house belonged to family members. My grandmother's quilt and hope chest, my husband's grandmother's transfer ware. A beautiful framed picture that was my mom's. I'm reminded everyday of them and find comfort in having their things around me. They would like that.
