I wanted to share pictures of my hanging baskets. The picture below was taken on May 19th, 2009. I remember when I bought them (I have three others) and thought they looked pretty good...

Here's the same hanging basket on July 11th! I'm amazed at how big it's gotten. I swear (well, not really...LOL) by Miracle Grow Bloom Booster. I water the baskets every day, sometimes twice if it's really hot out. I also try to cut the dead blooms off every day, too.

Thanks for stopping by to take a look...enjoy the rest of your weekend.

ReplyDeleteWOW! How beautiful! Your thumb must be a lot greener than mine! LOL!
ReplyDeleteEnjoy your weekend!
Your blooms are just gorgeous. And I thought my hanging geraniums were beautiful. I'm off to get me some Miracle Grow Bloom Booster! Thanks for sharing your posies with us. ~Adrienne~
ReplyDeleteI love hanging baskets, there's just something about them that makes them special to me. But where we are now the deer and elk would have easy access to them.
ReplyDeleteThey really have grown! Really gorgeous. I can't wait to have a place where I can have hanging baskets again some day and this time I'll know how to keep them beautiful. Thanks!
ReplyDeleteHow lovely! I didn't make any hanging baskets this year and didn't plant my railing boxes either. Maybe next year.
ReplyDeleteLove how your porch looks!
Beautiful baskets! I try and cut off the dead blooms too. I think it also just makes for a prettier basket.
ReplyDeleteKim, your flowers have grown beautifully! You have such a lovely home,
ReplyDeleteHave a blessed evening,
Sharon
You make keeping those hanging baskets looking "luxurious" sound simple enough that I might actually try. I have given up, but see that probably I don't fertilize and water enough. I've jotted down your "formula" for next year. Thanks for sharing the pictures & instructions.
ReplyDeleteBeautiful Porch!!!!
ReplyDeleteJust became a follower! ; )
Kimberly
They are the prettiest touch to your great porch!
ReplyDeleteYour Blog is very sweet, the kind I love to visit :) Don't you just love to see the fruits of your labor? Summertime and all the beauty that the flowers bring there is nothing better. Love it all!...Thanks for sharing and stop by and see me sometime!

ReplyDeleteThose are amazing! Really a great recommendation for the Miracle Grow! PS- love the "look"of your blog :-)
ReplyDeleteKim's always had a green thumb. I wish she'd pass some of that color onto me. My hanging baskets never look like hers.
ReplyDeleteI love your hanging baskets! They look beautiful! :)
ReplyDeleteGorgeous hanging basket, Kim! Do you have a problem with wrens wanting to nest in them? I do. I no longer get my baskets hung on a hook when there is a nest with eggs. Trying to water around it all can be quite tricky.
ReplyDeleteKim, your hanging baskets and bunting loog gorgeous! Your home is so pretty - just lovely, and I really like your blog design - it looks great Kim!!!

Beautiful!!
ReplyDeleteYour baskets are very lovely!! Mine are suffering from the high heat and the fact that I may have overwatered them to compensate.
