Yes, blogging friends....I tweaked my tweaking. The first picture shows how it looked the first time. I felt that something was missing in the middle...the salt and pepper shakers looked too small...while I felt it was okay, it just wasn't right.

While browsing a new blogging friend's blog, Lisa from
A Cottage To Me had posted about her new candle from Wal-mart. The style is what I was looking for.

So I found this great candle, thanks to Lisa (I got a different scent though). I also got this wooden candle holder that was on clearance and decided to use it, too.

Thanks for stopping by to see my tweaking! I love your visits. Have a wonderful weekend, dear blogging friends and thank you for all of sweet comments on my previous post about my "tweaking".
Love, Kim
Hi Kim,
ReplyDeleteI'm so glad you got the candle! I like what you did with it too. I love to have a candle burning~almost all the time. Great price on these too, don't you think? Thanks for stopping by! I enjoy your blog and will keep in touch!
I think you "tweaked" it just right!!!♥
ReplyDeleteCame across your blog from Leslie at My Country Home.

Kim, first of all, I LOVE the title of your post! lol I think that the candle looks perfect there, too. It just so happens I'm going to WalMart today ~ who knows, I might end up on the candle aisle;) Have a great weekend!

That looks great! I saw those candles and want to go back and get a couple. They have such charm, don't they?
ReplyDeleteHave a great weekend!
I love what you did with your tweak-tweak! I've seen those candles at WalMart and always thought they would be fun but didn't know where I would put them at the time. I was usually looking for something specific. Your window looks great. I love candles and love to have them burning in my home - especially in the late Fall, Winter and early Spring. Thanks for sharing your window with us.
ReplyDeleteI love your header and the look of your blog. Did you redo it yourself? I need to make some changes to mine one of these days but I don't know how to do what I think I want. I'd better learn or find someone who does blog design!

I was just smelling those candles...ruthann was talking about those. Cute tweaking. cherry
ReplyDeleteHi,
ReplyDeleteI have never responded to a stranger's blog before. I have one of my own, but I think my family members are the only ones who take the time to look. Feel free if you would like...
Anyhow, I have several of those candles and you are right, they smell wonderful. When they burn down I have used the empty containers for planters, pencil holders, vases, etc. Cute, cheap, and homey!!! Great combo! Amy
Hi Kim,
ReplyDeleteThe way that you have tweaked that display is perfect! I have that same candle and I love it :)
