~* Happy Belated July 4th *~

Dear blogging friends...I cannot believe how long it has been since I posted anything. I don't know where the time has gone and I do apologize for not being around as much.

I hope all of you had a wonderful 4th. We had some friends over to watch fireworks. We live on a hill and have a wonderful view of some local fireworks (Idlewild Park and Rolling Rock Country Club). My dear friend Josie brought me this sweet flag box that I just love! Thank you so much Josie!

We recently changed our front porch furniture. Our other furniture was nice, but was too small for the size of the porch. We got this furniture at Home Depot and I just love it...wish all of you could come over and enjoy it with me...I can see us sitting there enjoying lemonade, cookies and chatting about our families and our recent yard sale/thrifting finds.

~*Some New Goodies*~

So sorry for the lack of posts...I haven't been doing any thrifting lately so I don't have any wonderful treasures to show all of you. I did, however, find this great terrarium looking cage at Target...it was originally $30 some dollars but I got it for around $8 (see I should have posted about this a LONG time ago...like when it was fresh on my mind).

I found this star candleholder at one of my favorite stores, WOW Outlet, for $2.00. I bought two of them and placed them on either side of the hutch in my dining room. (I added the candle and the candle ring.)

~* A New Sign *~

I am a lover of signs...I recently found this Laundry Room sign and wanted to show it to you. I have it sitting on the door frame going into the laundry area.

Below the sign is a small clothes line...I bought it a LONG time ago (when my dh and I were first married - 18 years ago) from Tender Hearts.
Here's the full view of the entrance into the laundry area...can you see my dear Gram's old sewing machine and the old wooden ironing board???

Hi friends, yes, I'm still around...just wanted to show you the pictures my dd took of the beautiful rainbow that showed up after the rain yesterday! One thing I noticed while looking at these pictures is how green the grass looks...oh how I long for the smell of fresh cut grass...I'm sure it won't be long!

Hello dear blogging friends! I can't believe I have been away for so long...I guess you could say that the winter weather had gotten the best of me and my inspiration was zilch...but that has since changed...I decided to show you a little of my spring decorating.
